MENUS

Chef on the Spot offers many different menu options (each menu is customized) that can vary from an intimate dinner for 2, to a sit down dinner for 12, or family style of buffet for a group. Your event is customized to your specifications with close attention to detail. Chef on the Spot also offers menu planning and meal preparation for busy clients on the go, or families that are too busy to make a home cooked meal each night. Special needs diets (diabetic, food allergies) are also available upon request. Typically, menus are priced per person and will depend upon the type of party and what is served. Please ask for price quote.

SERVICE OPTIONS

There are different levels of service options to choose from, depending on the size and scope of your event. Additional prices for these services will be added accordingly.

  • There is also a "Set-n-Go" service, where the food is prepared and set up in your home, but Chef is gone by the time party begins. Your own platters and service wear can be used, or for an additional fee, you can use equipment from Chef on the Spot that will be picked up at your convenience after the event. Labels for each item being served are included.
  • The "Full Service" package includes food preparation in your home, set up with Chef on the Spot's platters, bowls, chafing dishes, serving utensils, etc.. Chef Mary will stay for three hours once the event begins, serving, restocking and cleaning up so that you have time to enjoy your guests and your party! This package also includes clear plastic plates, cutlery and napkins, along with labels for each item that is being served.

Traditionally, Mary will meet with you in person or over the phone to start the process, which will include the purpose of the event, the theme and colors being used, the expected guest list (kids? just adults?), etc. A proposal is typically sent within a few days that includes a varied selection of food items to choose from, the various service options available, and the pricing per person. (Pricing is guaranteed for 2 weeks from the time the proposal is sent.)

Assuming you choose to hire Chef on the Spot, a 50% deposit is needed to secure the date and time of your event. The balance is due the day of the event.
