I would like to take a moment to say that this has been one of the most incredible experiences of my life. I have had the privilege and pleasure of meeting some of the greatest 2 legged and 4 legged creatures on earth.

Just when you think mankind is the cruelest being on this planet. I meet people who not only give meat from their freezers to us instead of throwing it out, but also give of themselves.

I have so many people who feel that the need to help these sanctuaries, is so great and that the feeling they get when they help is so wonderful, that they have started gathering for us. I have received many calls from folks that have been gathering from there places of business, neighbors, families and friends. Then they call and say I have meat, sometimes it's as little as 10 lbs or as much as 200 lbs.

I have even received dog food from folks that sadly lost their pet (baby) and didn't want to throw it out. When this occurs I give it to our local NO - KILL shelters, which by the way is always in need of our help.

I want to send a special thanks to each and everyone of my wonderful helpers. And keep up the great work. Your help is much needed and very much appreciated.

In this journey of mine I have also met many people that are vegetarian, but still feel the need to give. These folks dig into their pockets and give as much as they can. I am always trying to use the money to help with all of the many expenses that most people just assume are taken care of.... gas, fencing materials, medical expenses which can range from a few dollars to many thousands. And again I want to say thank you, without you we wouldn't survive.

I would also like to talk to you about the need to spay and neuter your pets. If you had any ideal how many animals that are killed daily because there are no homes for them it would make you sick. Hundreds of thousands of animals of all breeds are euthanized because of over population. And when it's animals that were meant to be in the wild in stead of back yards it's even more horrible. Please remember these animals have rights to.

The shelters we help as of now have approximately 130 wolves, 9 black bears, 3 mountain lions, 6 foxes and a couple of coyotes rescued from guarantee kill ranches. ( we have some real hunters that require a fenced in animal to get their trophies). Right now we do not run any of these sanctuaries or have one of our own, we are just trying to help.

At this time I want to send a very special thanks to my wonderful husband who has had to put up with me and my quest. He has been very generous by letting me use his place of business (2 brothers automotive) for storage of the freezers as well as being understanding about all the miles I have put on our personal vehicle. He has been very supportive and extremely understanding about all of the demands that have been required to accomplish this task.

Without his help none of this would have been possible. Thanks honey, your the best husband ever!

In closing I want to say that this has been a very successful venture and many have profited by all of our combined efforts.
